Rat or wolf?

This is what the sketch looks like in real life.
And this is what it could look like (when I do it in glass)--this is a photoshop fix. The only difference is a shorter muzzle and the tail.

I am curious as to whether or not the fixed one actually looks more wolf-like to you. Because I dunno if I should bother changing it.

I vote for the fixed one - more lupine, IMO. Nothing wrong with having a tail.

The longer muzzle makes the girl look smaller..and I think the hair is long therefore more wolfy..don't think you really need to show the tail..after all a rat has one too! (ha ha suddenly we all become experts on rats and wolves..the only one I've seen close up in real life is a rat.) Cool pic though..I like it

I love her either way and can't stop looking.

i like the first one because i feel like she looks more vulnerable without the tail protecting her feet. Plus, it echoes the paws by her neck more effectively.

I really appreciate this input--thank you all!

The feet look very rat-like to me. I like the top one better, and I prefer to think that the creature is a rat - it's just a bit more bizarre and interesting to me for some reason than if it were a wolf, but either way it's a fantastic image.

Long snout is extremely scary and compelling! Almost alligatory.

German Julie and I prefer the RAT! The long snout is so ratty and the idea of the human being in a small rat mouth is jus more exciting than a large wolf mouth. The German word for the rat is: Die RATTE.

Hi Tara--
I think the rat's gonna win...I've been living with the sketch posted and what used to bug me has stopped buggin' me (that rarely happens!)

I vote for the long-snouted, non-tailed rat. I find that version much more dramatic and compelling.
You are amazing, Judith!
