I don't think Penland has released the 2009 information yet. I'm not sure about Pilchuck.
Both classes will be similar...yet no doubt they will take on momentum of their own and develop uniquely--I don't want to pin it down to a rigid structure: but basically its a stained glass class in which people will experiment with layering flash glass. So there will be some sandblasting, engraving, painting... that type of thing... Oh and anything else interesting they want to do with stained glass that I can facilitate!!
I'm really looking forward to it as I have never been to Penland and I love Pilchuck.
You ARE? Oh my god, that would be such an awesome experience! I've been trying to get into Pilchuck for the past few years, and was starting to get fed up with their lack of stained-glass courses. Judith, you just made my day (especially now that I live in the PNW).

What class are you teaching at Penland? I searched their site, but couldn't find anything.
